eGifter Expands to Europe with Amazon Gift Cards Paid in Bitcoin
In a press release sent out today eGifter , a social and mobile gifting company, announces its expansion into the European Market by adding Amazon.fr, Amazon.de and Amazon.co.uk Gift Cards to its offerings.
The new offering will allow European consumers to purchase these cards with Bitcoin, which is very good news as the real Bitcoin economy takes off and more and more consumers look for simple ways to use their coins to buy things (as opposed of speculation).
The gift cards are available on the eGifter web and mobile website and will be available next month on the eGifter mobile apps for iOS and Android. The gift cards can be purchased with bitcoins and other payment methods. Then the gift cards can be redeemed on Amazon.fr, Amazon.de and Amazon.co.uk, respectively.

Further International Expansion Ahead
eGifter is planning further international expansion later this year in time for the holiday shopping period, including making gift cards from more brands available for sale with bitcoin and other payment methods and making gift card purchases with bitcoin and other payment methods available in other markets.
Gyft cards, a popular alternative, are considered as one of the simplest and most convenient ways to purchase with bitcoins from a wide range of retailers that don’t take Bitcoin directly, but they are only available in the US.
eGifter is based in New York and was founded in 2011 by a group of technology entrepreneurs.
