General Bytes machines now offer PotCoin as a supported currency
Integration of the leading cryptocurrency for the cannabis industry is completed – providing easier ways for customers to get their hands on PotCoin using cash.
October 10th, 2017 – General Bytes , known as one of the largest bitcoin ATM producers worldwide, has confirmed it has completed the integration of PotCoin as a supported currency. With close to 800 ATM locations across 37 countries, this means that PotCoin can now be bought and sold for fiat currency at a variety of retail locations worldwide. With a current average of 4-5 new ATMs sold daily, the number of machines supporting the coin could reach 1300 by the end of the year.
PotCoin , the cryptocurrency for the cannabis industry that recently garnered public attention for sending Dennis Rodman to North Korea, seeks to add easier ways for people both familiar and unfamiliar with the cryptocurrency space to get their hands on the coin. This move will provide further incentives for cannabis related businesses like dispensaries to integrate PotCoin, as the coin becomes more available at a mainstream level. PotCoin and General Bytes are also working on additional solutions tailored for the cannabis industry.
